Oregon Writing Festival - Saturday, May 4, 2019
Authors: Rosanne Parry, Graham Salisbury, and Kim Stafford (Oregon Poet Laureate). Wow!

- Kids should show up at Twality at 7:00 a.m.
- Wear school appropriate clothing
- Bring a sack lunch
- If possible, send money to buy books. It's special to get them autographed, and both Graham Salisbury and April Henry will be there to autograph.

Every year I take my top student writers to Portland State University the first Saturday in May for a fabulous day of writing and sharing writing, as well as listening to authors and buying books (even getting them autographed). This year it will be held on Saturday, May 4.
If your child loves to write, send me an email or have him/her talk to me about it. I will get them started on a writing sample. The cost is $35.00 plus lunch and money for books (optional) and ice cream afterwards. Last year the PSO paid for the bus and I believe they will do so again this year. That will save us the hassle of figuring out car-pooling of parents.
